Certainly if any vehicle could rest on its laurels it would be the Mini, but the announcement of BMW's intention to update that most beloved of British cars could not have been more welcome. The revitalised Mini is a triumph of technology, the perfect blend of classic influence and modern design!
A whole new generation are now able to enjoy the Mini Cooper in perhaps its finest incarnation, with the price of a used Mini making the celebrated offspring of the original icon an attainable aspiration.
BMW grabbed everyone's attention with their Vision ConnectedDrive Roadster. Although the exact specs have not been released, this Roadster works to fuse the driver and car with the surrounding environment for best results. There was also a Mini Rocketman concept car that was revealed to the public for the first time. This small vehicle is capable of getting 94mpg and strives to combine fuel efficiency with comfort and drivability.
The Geneva Motor Show revealed some of the most impressive green vehicles yet, and there are no signs of the industry slowing down.There will surely be many more innovative green vehicles coming in the near future.
